CODE OF CONDUCT
  • i) Misbehaviour towards teachers or any other employee of the school.

  • ii) Intention Disturbance of the classes.

  • iii) Absent from classes without the permission of the Teacher/Headmistress /Vice-Principal/Principal/Rector.

  • iv) Bullying/Intimidation of others.

  • v) Eve-teasing /misbehaviour towards girl students.

  • vi) Damaging / disfiguration of school property.

  • vii) Propagation strike/distruption of classes.

  • viii) Association with banned organisation.

  • ix) Propagating communal/ caste feeling amongst the students.

  • x) Indulging in physical violence

  • xi) Disobeying lawful orders

  • xii) Bringing unauthorised people /articles inside the school.

  • xiii) Theft/Pilferage of school/students property.

  • xiv) Any behaviour unbecoming of students.

  • xv) Indulging in acts of moral turpitude.

  • xvi) Bringing mobile phone to the school.

  • xvii) Wearing Low–Waist trousers/pants.

  • xviii) Wearing short skirts.

  • xix) Not following school dress code.

  • xx) Keeping Long-hair, nails, wearing ear top, putting tattoos.

  • B. In above acts of misconduct, Headmistress/Vice-Principal/Principal/Rector as the case may be may take suitable action as per observations of the disciplinary committee depending on the gravity of the misconduct which may include.

  • i) Oral/Written warnings to the students and parents.

  • ii) Suspension from attending classes/school for specified period.

  • iii) Recovery of loss of property or fine levied.

  • iv) Issue of T.C

  • v) Expulsion/Rustication from school.

  • School Rules

  • 1. A student must carry his/her dairy to school every day. They must have his/her photograph and complete information signed by the parents/class teacher.

  • 2. Students must be collected/leave the school premises after showing their identity cards at the gate at dispersal time every day.

  • 3. Students who come to school in their own transport should arrive at school before the bell rings. No student is allowed to come to school in a self driven cycle, scooter, motor cycle or car.

  • 4. Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days, school functions and school excursions.

  • 5. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. Otherwise school will make arrangement for doing so.

  • 6. Girls should plait their hair if it is below the shoulder. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.

  • 7. Students are expected to respect the property of others which includes respect for school property.

  • 8. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (eg. Expensive watches, pens, money) to school.

  • 9. Cell phones, pagers, cameras, I-pod are not allowed in the school. The said items if seized will not be returned back to the owner.

  • 10. Staying away from mandatory school functions, Rabindra Jayanti, Independence Day, Vivekananda Jayanti , Republic Day, Annual Day and Sports Day without prior permission will be considered a major discipline default.

  • 11. Students are responsible to school authorities for their CONDUCT not only in the school but also for their general behavior outside. It is expected that through their good behavior they must enhance the prestige of the school.

  • 12. Leave must be obtained by the written application from Parents/Guardians in the prescribed “Leave Record”. Pupils must be present on the opening and closing days of each terms (Summer, Puja & Winter Vacations)

  • 13. Students must not miss any teaching/games/library/activity period.

  • 14. Students must not indulge in any of the following practises : A) Spitting in or near the school building. B) Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property. C) Smoking D) Any form of gambling/addiction. E) Rowdyism, rude behaviour and bullying. F) Use of violence in any form. G) Casteism,

  • 15. Changing of classrooms between period should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.

  • 16. The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

  • 1. All Students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.

  • 2. The buses will not wait for late comers.

  • 3. Children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.

  • 4. No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.

  • 5. All student must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses. Moving inside the bus and distracting the driver is strictly prohibited.

  • 6. The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.

  • 7. Drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stop only, unless otherwise directed by the Bus In Charge. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters.

  • 8. When the bus is in motion students must not move around in the bus and no part of their body should be outside the window.

  • 9. Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.

  • 10. No student is allowed to eat in the bus or to make purchases of any sort while in the bus.

  • 11. Discarding of thrash foods while inside or outside bus is not permitted.

  • 12. Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.

  • 13. The driver’s attention must not be distracted for any reason.

  • 14. The bus teachers, and senior student are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the transport In-charge and the Head of the Institution.

  • 15. Under no circumstances will children be allowed to board another bus to fulfil social engagements.

  • 16. No student will board the bus without the Bus Badge.

  • 17. Parents will not be allowed to board the school bus under any circumstances.

  • 18. A list of students with bus stops will be available in each bus.

  • 19. Change of bus routes due to a change of address will be allowed only after an application has been submitted to the Head of the Institution and will depend on the availability of seats in the required bus.

  • 20. Rude and ill behaviour of the Bus Driver and Helper should be reported at once to the Head of the Institution else the Parents shall be responsible.

  • 21. Transport service once availed cannot be withdrawn in the middle of the session. Only for class XII service is terminated in January.

School will be closed on account of Id-Uz-Zoha on 13th September
